I've always enjoyed looking at and working on the south side of the lake because I think that it's a little more tranquil, peaceful.

My place in the city

 

I'm so glad that you came to visit my gallery. I'm just beginning to hang a few paintings. This particular painting of Lake Harriet Rose Gardens is one of my very favorites. It is one of my favorites because it is certainly one of the most difficult paintings that I have ever made. The painting was made on pleasant summer evenings, in pleasant company, and is an easy commute from my car. Quite honestly I don't understand what made this image so challenging, but at least I am very satisfied with the final outcome.
